CSOC Academy is proud to introduce the first (and so far only) training courses available for individuals and organizations who are implementing the ASD’s Essential Eight Maturity Model.
Essential Eight is Australia’s main cyber security standard, legally mandated for Federal government agencies as well as a range of private sector organizations operating in sensitive industries.
Until now, there have been no formal training programs available to provide the knowledge and skills required for successful implementation of the maturity model. Indeed, the only training currently available focuses on training assessors to evaluate an organization’s compliance with the Essential Eight.
CSOC Academy will provide three Essential Eight Implementer courses following its standard course architecture.
- The Essential Eight Foundations course is an e-Learning course designed for anyone interested in learning more about Essential Eight and how it can benefit their organization.
- The Certified Essential Eight Implementer program is offered as a bootcamp style program with e-Learning supported by facilitated online delivery by a qualified Essential Eight Assessor. Candidates who successfully complete all assessment work will be eligible for certification subject to requirements for annual “refresher” PD.
- The Certified Essential Eight Lead Implementer program is offered as a masterclass style program where participants develop a complete and detailed implementation plan for their organization under the supervision of the Trainer and using templates designed by our Consulting Division. Certified Lead Implementers demonstrate that they not only have the knowledge and skills to lead the implementation of an Essential Eight Implementation or Maturity Uplift project, but have actually developed a complete implementation plan for a real-world organization.
